My boyfriend knows how much I love going on foodtrips and discovering new restaurants, which is why he likes taking me to places we’ve never tried before. And for my birthday this 2023, he took me to Hillbarn Cafe & Restaurant in Tagaytay.

BLT Sandwich ₱440
I was not really keen on having a sandwich for my birthday, but their BLT Sandwich looked so good in the photos, and I must say, it did not disappoint. I loved the thick, crunchy sourdough toasts with the generous serving of lettuce, tomato, and bacon in between, and the flavored fries that it came with.
Pork Chop ₱525
Instead of the steak, I opted for another one of their best-sellers which is their Pork Chop. It was also good, and was surprisingly juicy and tender despite its thick cut. It went well with their apple sauce and mashed potatoes.
Linguine Truffle ₱420
Overall, we were happy and impressed with our lunch experience. The service was good, the ambiance was nice, the food was delicious and reasonably priced given the serving size. I will definitely be back to give their steak a try next time.
