Patio Elizabeth Bed and Breakfast in Tagaytay
I haven't been out of the house much since the pandemic struck in 2020, and I haven't tried discovering new restaurants or tried traveling to different cities. This trip to Tagaytay last weekend is the first in over a year, and I'm so ecstatic to share my memorable experience at Patio Elizabeth!
The Gate
My friends suddenly asked me to meet them over the weekend, and since I already had plans on Saturday, I asked to have breakfast with them the following day. We were looking for places to spend it in, and luckily, someone from a Facebook group I am in just posted photos from Patio Elizabeth, so I immediately messaged them to reserve a table for a beautiful, al fresco dining experience.

Patio Elizabeth is a bed and breakfast place. So you can choose to book the place for a night of staycation with your friends or family. The main house has can accommodate 8-10 people in a room.
Patio
The second house has 2 rooms for couples and a room good for 6-8 people. Rates are at around P4,500 and P7,200 per night respectively.

They only allow 4 groups at a time to dine in, so making a reservation is A MUST! Some may think of it as a hassle but trust me, it makes the experience waaay better because it gives you the chance to have the place all to yourselves.
Beef Tapa ₱375
The meat cut for the beef tapa is not the usual beef tapa cut, but I was surprised that it was still tender and not dry at all. It also goes well with their garlic vinegar dip.
Patio Elizabeth's signature dish is their special champorado that they top with crushed chocnut. An order is good for 6-8 people. I haven't had champorado in years because I'm not a fan of this dish, but I have to admit that Patio Elizabeth's was good.
Patio Elizabeth is also pet friendly, which means you can bring your furry friends to enjoy a staycation with you! (I would definitely go back here with my beloved dog Churro).
What else do you need to know prior to visiting Patio Elizabeth? Since they only accept a limited number of people/ groups per day, they will ask for a downpayment for you to secure your slot at this sanctuary.
