Like all other buffet restaurants in Manila, you can expect a good spread of starters like salad, sushi, sashimi, as well as other buffet staples like the tempura, kakiage, chicken karaage and more. Honestly, there were a few selection of food when I visited last March 2020, but from what I saw this year, it looks like they added so much more food in their spread, which is a huuuge plus! 

Their hotpot also has a "lift" function where you can press a button, and all the meat and veggies you put in the pot will be separated from the soup. This way, it'll be easier for you to get what you want, and you can prevent the food from getting overcooked in the soup as well. 

I got to try their pork broth and mala soup last 2020. I honestly liked both of them, especially that their mala soup was not extremely spicy. It was more on a sweet and salty flavor with just a hint of kick, way different than the mala I am used to. 

And what makes Hosaku different from most restaurants is that it all their tables have conveyor belts beside them. It's like a grab-and-cook situation - you see what you want in the conveyor belt, you get it, and you cook it. No need for you to constantly call the attention of servers. 

PRO TIP: Sit closer to the end of the belt where the food is coming out so that you get first dibs on everything! 

Desserts and drinks are also included in the fees. They had around three cakes and three flavors of ice cream to choose from when we visited. Nothing fancy, but it will definitely help you satisfy your sweet tooth after devouring all those food.
