Tabuk Egg Pie: Where to Order
I haven't had any disappointing orders from the small businesses I've been ordering from since the quarantine began in March, and this is another one that I really loved.
Tabuk egg pie may look just like an ordinary egg pie, except that it is actually pugon-baked, which is an old-fashioned, more traditional way of cooking egg pies.
Want to try one? Luckily, you can! My Kitchen Delicacies sources their Tabuk egg pie directly from the Kalinga province, so you can expect only the BEST! You can really taste the difference in the baking method, as this egg pie is the smoothest one I've ever tried! (Seriously, it's like the combination of egg pie and leche flan. And my entire family agrees). It also isn't too sweet, which makes it the perfect, almost guilt-free treat.
You may check their Instagram page @mykitchendelicacies for announcements on batch pre-orders. A whole pie costs P400 each + shipping fee.
