Being on quarantine and having the threat of COVID-19 around us are no fun. We can't go out to do what we want freely, and most of us have lost our primary source of income. But we can't always look at it on a negative perspective. 

I got to try two flavors offered by Freccia Pasta: the signature creamy pesto in mixed pasta, and cheesy pancetta carbonara in fusilli. 

Each tub of pasta is good for 4-5 people. They also come with a small container of extra sauce and parmesan cheese, which you can use to adjust the pasta to your liking (if you want it saucier and cheesier).

I was excited most about their cheesy pancetta carbonara in fusilli pasta because I've been craving for one since the quarantine started in March. It wasn't the carbonara I was hoping for because the pasta was different, and less creamy, but that doesn't mean that it was not good. What I really liked about it was that it wasn't too creamy, yet the flavor of the sauce was nicely infused in each pasta, so each bite was not bland nor nakaka-umay. It was also generously topped with tiny bacon bits that gave the pasta added flavor.
