Harry Potter Studio Tour in London
I'm not one of the die hard fans of Harry Potter. I have never even read any of the books, but I did enjoy watching the films, and so our trip to the studio was one of the most awaited part of our London trip.
My friend was the one who booked our tickets. We paid GBP 79 per person.
We just took an Uber going to the studio since it was really far from where we were staying, and we had to take the train and buses just to get here, which will cost us pretty much the same as taking an Uber.
Here are some of the photos we took while on tour.
We arrived around an hour early from our schedule, so we decided to visit the hufe souvenir shop first. Here's my photo trying on a Gryffindor robe.
Great Hall in Hogwarts Castle
The Dursley Family's Home in Privet Drive
Harry Potter's letters from Hogwarts
Cupboard under the Stairs
The cupboard under the stairs was Harry's room in the first book. It's where his letters from Hogwarts were addressed.
Dumbledore's Office
Professor Snape's Potions Class
from The Chamber of Secrets Book
Chamber of Secrets
Weasley Family's House
This is the scene from The Chamber of Secrets where the whomping willow attacked the flying car Harry and Ron were in.
Hogwarts Express
We also got to tour the inside of the Howarts express, where the costumers and props of Harry and the gang from all scenes across the books were displayed.
Dolores Umbridge's Office
Here's what the office and outfits of the most hated character from the Harry Potter books look like.
They also have "photo booths" in the studio where you can have your photos taken. You can choose between riding a broomstick, getting printed in a newspaper, and others. You can also have one photo printed for free (included in the ticket fee).
There's a snack bar in the middle of the tour where you can eat and take a break. It's also where you can claim your free butterbeer. You'll get to choose the kind of cup it'll be served in, then you can bring it home with you as a souvenir. (There were sinks in the snack bar where you can wash your cups before you take it home).
