It was a holiday, and like most holidays I've had in the past since my childhood, I had nowhere to go and nothing to do but to stay home. Lucky for me, my friend also didn't have somewhere she needs to be at, so we decided to do a little food crawl, starting with Easy, Tiger in BGC.
Easy, Tiger is a casual dining restaurant that offers affordable Thai food.
Fried Spring Rolls P138
For starters, we ordered a plate of their fried spring rolls, which consists of glass noodles, meat, and black mushrooms all wrapped in egg roll wrapper (lumpia wrapper), fried until crispy, and served with sweet chili sauce. I enjoyed and savored every bite of it, being a fan of spring rolls, especially since this one was really delicious.
Pad Thai (chicken) P155
Pad Thai is a staple, stir-fried noodle dish from Thailand. I've never really been a fan of this dish, even here at Easy, Tiger.
Garlic Fried Rice Thai Style P135
Since we ordered a few mains as well, we figured we would want to eat those with some rice, thus the garlic fried rice Thai style. It's basically just garlic rice, except that the rice used was a bit stickier than what we normally have.
Beef in Red Curry P295
If there's one dish I'd definitely recommend out of everything we've tried, it would have to be the beef in red curry. I loved the cut of beef that was used. It wasn't thick nor thin, plus it was tender. The sauce also had just the perfect amount of coconut milk, and just the right amount of kick.
Chicken Sate P260
The chicken sate was one of the last dishes we ordered from Easy, Tiger. We just added it to have another main dish to eat with rice, but honestly, we could've done okay without it. I wasn't a fan of its sweet and nutty taste. I guess I'm just not into chicken sate as a whole as well.
Overall, we were happy with our experience at Easy, Tiger. Their food are not only affordable, but delicious and come in big servings that are good for sharing as well. It's good value for money, especially if you use your Zomato Gold as they offer 1+1 on Food.
P.S. Their Thai milk tea looked so good, too! We weren't able to order one though since we were supposed to have milk tea and laksa after as part of our mini food crawl. But I'll definitely be back to try it. I promise!
