Mr. Korea opened their first branch in Market! Market! last July 28. And if you think that this is just another one of your regular KBBQ restaurants, then you better read on.
Like its sister restaurant, Mr. Korea's interiors are not only warm and cozy, but also perfect for your Instagram feed goals!
They offer 14 different kinds of pork and beef that are guaranteed to satisfy whatever it is that your tastebuds requires. They also have Korean hotpot which you can avail of for an additional (minimal) fee.
I honestly don't know how I'm going to start describing my experience. I wasn't expecting to like it better than other KBBQ restaurants because let's face it, most of them taste the same, but Mr. Korea does know how to make an entrance in the industry, making sure that they give their competitors a challenge and that they give their customers a unique dining experience.

Their cheese dip is so good and creamy! It goes great with their meats, especially the spicy beef!
BEEF
Their beef are all so flavorful. If you've read all my previous samguypsal posts, you might recall that I always prefer plain woosamgyup in KBBQ restaurants, but not in Mr. Korea! Also, I had countless plates of their beef enoki roll. It's my favorite! Make sure you try it.
PORK
Same goes with the pork. I really loved their flavored ones, especially the dry rub samgyupsal, even if it had a bit of a kick.
HOT POT
Since the side dishes of Mr. Korea does not include any soups, I highly suggest that you get their hotpot as well. It comes with unlimited vegetables, ramyun noodles, fish cake, and assorted balls, plus a basic soup base. P50 is a minimal fee for unlimited servings of all these, so it's really worth it. Here's a tip: try combining the melted cheese with the soup base! It's good!
DRINKS
The unli KBBQ package also includes unli drinks, with 4 juices to choose from. They have other drinks available, like sodas and soju, which you have to pay for on top of the fixed KBBQ price.
Mr. Korea's unlimited KBBQ is available for P499 for lunch and P549 for dinner. This price is inclusive of VAT, subject to 10% service charge. The unli hotpot can be availed of for an additional P50 per head. There's also a time limit of 2 hours, which is more than enough time to enjoy all these, if you'll ask me.
I can't wait for them to open more branches SOON! ❤ And of course I'll be there A LOT.
