Adulting is really tough. You have bills to pay and a monthly salary to budget, and it gets even tougher when you have to buy lunch or eat out every single day. If you work around BGC area, looking for affordable and filling meals seem impossible, but Motto Motto made it simpler for us with their newest lunch sets.
Motto Motto has two new lunch sets: the Superstar Lunch Sets and the Sizzling Teppan Series. Both these sets are available daily from 11am to 2:30pm.
SUPERSTAR LUNCH SETS
There are 7 meals to choose from under the Superstar Lunch Sets, and each set comes with a bowl of miso soup, cabbage salad, and a glass of iced tea.

| Seafood Tempura Don P325 |
The seafood tempura don is a classic for most Japanese cuisine enthusiasts out there. And while it is the most expensive out of all the superstar lunch sets, it's still cheaper than what the other restaurants offer and is quite a steal for a meal that is under P500.

Want something steaming hot and spicy to wake you up mid-day? The mapo tofu with pork, tossed in spicy sauce is the perfect treat for you.

Spicy Dynamite Chicken Karaage P250

My ultimate favorite from the superstar lunch set is their spicy dynamite chicken karaage. It's chicken karaage topped with different sauces that just makes the whole thing incredibly flavorful. It's also got just a bit of a kick that will leave you wanting more.

Kakiage Tempura P195

I loved that it the kakiage tempura because it was crispy and lightly battered, although it's a dish I love to eat without rice.

| Chasu Pork on Chasu Fried Rice P250 |
I kind of have a bit of a love-hate feeling about the chasu pork on chasu fried rice. The chasu was so tender and great, while the chasu fried rice lacked flavor. It helped that the rice was a bit sticky, though.

Their beef belly gyudon is relatively cheap, and also tasty, but of course I still prefer their special beef gyudon, my ultimate fave!
Nasu Miso Pork P225
I was not able to taste and get a photo of the nasu miso pork. Oh well, I guess that's something I have to go back for.
SIZZLING TEPPAN SERIES
There are 4 choices from the sizzling teppan series. Each sizzling set meal comes with a bowl of miso soup, a cup of rice, and a glass of iced tea.

All of the sizzling teppan series had almost the same taste because of the yakiniku sauce that was used, but the dish that worked best for me would have to be the garlic beef and garlic butter squid. They also have sesame chicken teppan, which I was not able to taste and take a photo of.

We all had different favorites when it came to the shaved ice desserts. Some loved the avocado, but I liked the watermelon more as it was more fruity, light, and refreshing.
So there you have it, the many many choices Motto Motto has in store for everyone looking for affordable but delicious lunch meals!
