Mornings to Love at Motto Motto
What motivates you to get up and jump out of bed every morning? While we can agree that our overwhelming day-to-day responsibilities can pretty much do the trick, doesn't the thought of starting the day with a sumptuous breakfast spark a bit of excitement?
Eggs Benedict P320 |
Hesitant to try something different? A classic breakfast favorite you can enjoy at Motto Motto is their eggs benedicts. It's your English muffins topped with Japanese ham, spinach, hollandaise sauce, served with aburi tomato and side salad. It's the perfect, heavy yet not too sinful breakfast meal fit for everyone.
Hokkaido Benedict P395 |
Can't let go of your favorite eggs benedict but trying to skip the meat? There's a healthier, more Japanese version of the eggs benedict available in Motto Motto's Hokkaido benedict. It's your English muffins topped with salmon patty, spinach, poached eggs, teriyaki sauce, and served with side salad. It's a tasty treat for those who are looking for an adventure for their tastebuds.
Ham and Eggs Asa-Teishoku P350 |
Are you a "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" kind of person? And a heavy breakfast is what you need? Then the ham and eggs asa-teishoku is definitely right for you. It comes with an egg of your choice (scrambled, sunny side-up, or omelet), croquette, ham, side salad, and toast with matcha butter and bean paste. It's a plate loaded with everything you would possible want to have for breakfast!
French Toast P320 |
Something I thought was plain and boring at first look but I also ironically loved in the end was the french toast. I am not the kind of person who loves bread, so seeing a dish like this doesn't really impress me, regardless of its toppings. But the french toast caught me by surprise because of how moist the bread was and how perfect all the components are together. I most especially loved the toasted fruit compote on top of the bread that at first I thought were toasted nuts.
Strawberries and Cream Japanese Souffle Pancake P295 |
Orange Creme Brulee Japanese Pancake Souffle P295 |
Last but not least, what's a Japanese breakfast without the ever popular Japanese souffle pancakes? They come in 4 different flavors - plain, strawberries and cream, bananas and chocolate, and orange creme brulee. We got to try two of them, and both tasted great to me since the pancake itself was great. I mean who wouldn't want something that light and fluffy? Plus, who wouldn't want to take boomerang shots of those pancakes wiggling, huh?
In the end, all I can say is, whatever breakfast meal you are in the mood for, you can get them all with a delicious, Japanese twist here at Motto Motto!
