Modern Japanese Restaurant at Serendra: Motto Motto
It's sad that Chelsea Grand Cafe at Serendra had to close down. But as they say, when one door closes, another one opens. This time around, it's a Modern Japanese Restaurant with the same cute interiors as Chelsea.
Motto Motto is the newest addition to the wide array of restaurants at BGC.
It's got a vibrant and modern Japanese setting, but you can still picture the old Chelsea Grand Cafe in it. It's perfect for all occasions, be it with your family or friends, or just for solo dining.
It also has a huge menu, catering to all your cravings under the Japanese cuisine.
Salmon Tempura Aburi P395 |
Crispy tempura wrapped in sushi rice, topped with torched salmon and fish roe, drizzled with Motto Motto's special sauce.
Motto Motto Roll P450 |
Karaage P350 |
Motto Motto's chicken karaage comes with mayonnaise on the side that I didn't bother using because it taste okay as is.
Unatama (Sharing) P395 |
US Beef Gyudon P350 |
Something I really looked forward to is their US Beef Gyudon. It's an old-fashioned Japanese dish with a bit of a twist. The beef they used made the whole bowl my absolute fave!
Buta Shabu Shabu P695 |
We also ordered a buta shabu shabu to share since it was a cold, rainy morning. It's a set of soup, thinly sliced pork, veggies, and comes with two sauces. I definitely enjoyed this one, especially dipping the pork in their light soy sauce.
House Tea |
Motto Motto also has cakes and breads available for purchase, all of which looked really tempting to take home!
