Who's Up for Some Cheap, Unlimited Samgyupsal?
One thursday night, I had this urge to go out after office hours and just munch all the stress away. I asked my brother to come with me, and since I just had an urge and not a craving, I asked him to tell me what he wants to eat so I can suggest a place we can visit. And guess what he replied?
SAMGYUPSAL. Yes, samgyupsal again! But I ain't complaining. I love samgyupsal, and I always have time for Korean BBQ!
I looked for a place that's near our home, since we left at around 8:30pm and most Korean BBQ places close at 10pm. I immediately remembered a restaurant we've always wanted to go to but also always fails to visit: Grami Korean Restaurant.
Grami Korean Restaurant is located along Dr. A Santos Avenue in Sucat, Paranaque. It's a restaurant offering one of the cheapest unlimited meat deals in Manila that I know of.
We got the unli pork and beef option, which includes unlimited sides, rice, salad, and soup. I didn't really eat much of the sides, but I did have 2 servings of their soup. It's like our nilaga but spicier! My brother and I enjoyed all of the meat on our first order, especially the beef, but after the first round, this changed. We're not sure if we just got tired of eating (or we were full), but we didn't really like the second batch as much as we liked the first.
The ambiance of Grami Korean Restaurant is really really simple, but I liked that it was well lit and ventilated that I didn't really feel the heat from the grill.
Grami's unlimited samgyupsal sure is a bargain, and I'd love to come back and try it again soon to see if I'd have a different (hopefully better than this visit's good) experience.
