Memory Lane
Magallanes Drive, Tagaytay City

So, going back to our Tagaytay food crawl last Bonifacio Day 2016, one of our stops included this home of Jolina Magdangal converted into a restaurant. We parked at the vacant area behind the place.

Well, I fell in love with the place, both with indoor and outdoor. The exterior had a garden with some Christmas decors. It also had some benches just outside the entrance where you can have your picture taken. There were also lovely plastic plants on their stairway. The interior also had lots of decors that seemed as if they were taken from the singer's bedroom.
We ordered their Tagaytay bulalo and Mom's Tender Juicy Babyback Ribs.
After waiting for sooooo long, our orders FINALLY arrived!
Tagaytay Bulalo P695

I found this okay. I really don't understand what's special with the bulalo because it tastes like nilaga to me, with just different meat, I guess? The price was also a bit high although the serving was huuuge. The meat was tender and the soup was okay.

Mom's Tender Juicy Babyback Ribs P590

I loved this one. The babyback ribs were indeed tender and juicy, it's just that some parts of the ribs were burnt. I also didn't like the sauce that they put. It didn't go well with the ribs since it's not barbeque. It's more of a sour sauce and it wasn't good.

Overall, I'm glad that I got to try this place, but I think they need to improve on their service, because it really really took so long before we were served with our orders. Pricing also isn't too friendly.

My score:
Pricing – 3/5
Service – 4/5
 Ambiance – 4/5
Taste – 4/5
