Curry Craving: Coco Ichibanya
This place is beautiful!!! It doesn't even look like it's just a simple, not so expensive curry place! The restaurant has beautiful interiors, with the lightings and just everything about its design still amazes me. Even the bathroom is really a comfort room!
The food is not bad. We ordered the curry udon and the pork omelet curry. We were asked about the hotness level of our curry. I love curry but I can't handle spicy food, so I went with the mild, but my boyfriend wants a challenge so he went with the spiciest. I loved that even if I ordered the mild version of the curry, I didn't feel like I missed the real essence of curry dishes. I was still able to taste the curry and the dish was what I expected. Oh, and good thing their staff recommended that I try a special sauce to mix with my order. According to her, the pork cutlet curry goes best with that sauce, and she was right.

Prices here are reasonable given the serving. It was enough for me. Although I'm not sure if it'll be enough for other guys out there. I didn't have a hard time finishing my food, but it did fill my growling tummy up.
I love their service. Food was served to us in less than 15 minutes (if I remember correctly). Also, I think the servers are trained to watch out for the glasses of their customers, since it's expected that the customers will need water for their spicy curry dishes. We never had empty glasses of water. It might be something small for other diners out there, but not for me.
You may not always consider a restaurant's ambiance, or service, or pricing when deciding where to eat, but once you experience the full package, it's only then you'll realize the great impact it creates on your whole dining experience. And for that, I thank this restaurant. Kudos!
My score:
