The Coolest Nerd: Burger Geek
I've been craving for burger for the whole week, and checked lots of restaurant menus and reviews and this place was the most popular and highly suggested.
We arrived the restaurant around 11:45am on a Sunday, and we were shocked to see that customers are already occupying almost half of the restaurant. In my experience, usually around this time restaurants don't get too much customers yet. The place is a bit small, so we're thankful that we arrived a bit early, since more customers, some in large groups, came in just a few minutes after we did.
We ordered the Class President (because I wanted something with onion rings and this is one of the recommended items in the reviews I've read), and the Umami Chicken with Kimchi Fried Rice. After ordering, we were served with chips that seemed like "cropeck" drizzled with seaweed bits. Personally, I didn't appreciate this too much. There were times that I liked it when snacking on it, but most of the time it just felt a little off. But it's free, so I'd rather not complain about it!
I had to order extra sides since I wanted to have fries with my burger, and the burger orders don't come with sides. The burger I had was good. The combination of the ingredients - onion rings, mushrooms, barbeque sauce, to name a few, well balanced out each other to create a flavorful dish. The burger patty was delicious, too. I enjoyed this a lot.

The umami chicken was okay as well. The skin was crispy and well seasoned. The chicken itself was juicy and didn't lack flavor. You would't be able to taste too much of the kimchi in the kimchi rice that was included in the dish. It was just fine for me. The real winner in this dish was the corn. I loved it!!! I really can't explain how much I loved it and why, but let's just say that all the elements in the coating of the corn plus the corn itself made a great combination.

Their service was good. Servers were nice and quick to attend to your needs and requests. Ambiance of the place is nice, too. There is a made up table of elements on one side of the wall, that's one thing I can remember.
Overall, I liked my experience with Burger Geek. My advice, come a bit early if you want sure seats, especially if you want to go in a group (for around more than 6 people) for you to get easily accommodated, as the place, as mentioned, is a bit small.
My score:
Pricing – 3/5
Service – 4/5
Ambiance – 4/5
Taste – 3.5/5
